Jakarta Modest Fashion Week (#JMFW) is becoming a monumental start for the world-renowned event series; as it opens the first Modest Fashion Weeks stores across Indonesia. #JMFW is collaborating with one of prestigious retailer in Southeast Asia; Metro Department Store to have #JMFWPoints inside 8 branches of the department store; among them are Metro Gandaria City, Pondok Indah Mall, Plaza Senayan, Trans Studio Makassar, Trans Studio Mall Bandung, Puri Indah Mal, Taman Anggrek and Ciputra World Surabaya.

#JMFWPoints will serve as selling channels for the event participants, not only during event but will continue until end of the year. This will provide the opportunity to one of the most affluent consumer base, Indonesian modest fashion lovers to have a taste of what worldwide designers of Modest Fashion Weeks have in store for them. Along with this, #JMFWPoints will help designers and brands to experience the market, and showcase their products not only on the runway, but also on display all across country.

"The collaboration with Metro is a proof that #JMFW is not only an event but beyond that. We always have been trying to connect designers to buyers in the name of creating effective and beneficial cooperations; and this is only one of significant steps to reach that goal. It will also become an information hub of the event itself. And we are lucky to have Markamarie to handle the management from A to Z," told Franka Soeria.

"Markamarie will help designers to make the best out of their products in JMFW stores. Being the local ; we will also help to produce the designs locally as well as marketing and promotion. We are aware of the challenge of cross-country selling and we bring the most realistic solutions for designers and brands to penetrate the market in the most optimal way possible." told Ismail Semin the founder of Markamarie Creative- the local partner of #JMFW that has great experience in assisting brands to discover and thrive in Southeast Asia.

Beside #JMFWPoints, the event will be full of interesting and exciting content; one of which is the Dream & Design for Disabilities Project. This project aims to connect disabled people's vision with fashion industry. Designers from Turkey (Zümrüt Kaya), and Germany (Meriem Lebdiri) and Indonesia (Markamarie & ACT) connect with local disabled communities in special workshops to create fashion items that will be sold in jakartamodestfw.com and in the event. The profit will be used as donation to buy wheelchairs for those in need and also lovely pieces will be shown on runway on a very special show. The co-founder of Think Fashion Ozlem Sahin highlight that ''Fashion is for everyone and it should be inclusive. If 15% of the World's population live with some form of disability, we really need to create an awareness in fashion industry.''
