Khalifah by Budinadia

Khalifah by Budinadia

When it comes to Eid Fashion, we’re so used to seeing a myriad of looks for women. Colours, material, style – all play a part in the overall look for a woman. From dresses to abayas, from the traditional Malay Baju Kurung to the traditional Malay Baju Kebaya – there’s a variety of styles to fit any woman.

But have we forgotten about the men in our lives? On that special day, we all want our partner looking dapper, handsome, regal, beside us.

So, we’re going to take a turn and focus a little bit on the men in our lives and introduce you to Budinadia – a home-grown, Singapore label that is bringing back the focus to the ‘Khalifahs’ in our lives.

Experimenting with pastel and bold colours, prints and a new slim-fit cut, Budinadia aims to reinvent the traditional Malay Baju Kurung for men.

The collection, aptly named Khalifah, pays homage to the strong, dignified, leader of the household. Yet giving it a modern twist with a play on colours.

The collection showcases a slim fit cut with a side zip, cinching the waist, giving it a V-shape look suitable for taller, lanky men. The traditional Malay Baju Kurung for men usually hangs down the sides making it a looser fit. But if you’re (or your other half) is looking for a more modern take on the traditional Baju Kurung, take a gander at Khalifah by Budinadia.

To compliment the look, Budinadia releases their own Kain Samping (or sarung). Made of silk cotton, the samping is cool and comfortable to wear for long hours in our Singapore heat.

With just a few more days to Eid, you don’t want to miss out on the Khalifah collection by Budinadia.
